A
group of 5 four-eyed fish, Anableps anableps, make the principal occupant
of this interesting aquarium. Or would it be better to consider a terrarium?
The fishes are called so because of their eyeballs are divided by a kind of a
membrane in two parts ( see pictures) which allows them to perceive in the same
time under and above the water as wel. It looks like two eyes being placed in
one eye socket
A carefully selected community, more oriented on one of the
mangrove regions on earth
would perhaps be advisable,
fore these beautiful occupants bound to this biotope

below
a plan of the supply that regulates the tides. Constructed with simple means.
That keeps the supply reasonable priced. The storage tank is able to contain 60
liters of water. The utmost left time swich controls the pump that fills tank
6/7 .The second pump again sends the volume of water at the indicated time back
to the aquarium; at that time it is flood tide. The rest goes without saying.
